I have to apologize for the lack of posts over the past week, I’m currently traveling and visiting with my husbands family in Brazil (for the holidays). With the time difference and not having wifi 24/7 I hope you can understand! I think it’s always good to unplug and get some rest & relaxation when possible. On another note, I prepared a few special posts for you before I left and this is one of my favorites. It’s a Salmon Sashimi Bento Bowl with Zucchini Roll Up’s and it’s absolutely divine.
Looking to make a healthy dinner in less than 10 minutes? This savory and hearty egg drop miso soup is your answer. The base of the broth is created from white miso which is heavenly. It holds a wonderfully rich and savory flavor which really pulls the dish together. I’m originally from the Big Island (Hawaii) and grew up surrounded by dishes similar to this with Japanese influence. This lovely soup is made in my home frequently as it’s simple yet nutritious and the flavor is divine! It warms your heart and belly all at the same time. Between the tofu and eggs, your bound to get a healthy dose of high quality protein which leaves you feeling both satisfied and satiated.
If you’re looking for an alternative protein option when it comes to burgers, this is a wonderful and healthy recipe. This burger is made of jarred ahi (aka yellow fin) tuna. It’s one of our favorite burger variations and it’s so quick and easy to put together. What I love most is that it’s packed with protein and nutrients. Tuna contains omega-3 fats which can help support cardiovascular health in addition it’s a great source of lean protein which is why I love it.
